Ottawa-Based Tournament Has Raised Over $8.1 Million for Local Organizations
Ottawa, ON – June 6, 2024 – The 2024 Mike McCann Charity Golf Tournament, presented by CLV Group and InterRent REIT, is now accepting sponsorships and registrations for their 24th annual event coming this fall. This year’s highly anticipated tournament will take place on September 19, 2024, at the Meadows Golf Course in Ottawa, Ontario, with 100% of the proceeds going to charities across Canada.
The annual event, originally established in 1998 as the Ron Kolbus Memorial Golf Tournament, was recently renamed to honor Mike McCann, a deeply cherished friend of the companies and a well-known business leader in Ottawa who tragically passed away from cancer in 2019. Mike's extraordinary charisma, dedication, and passion for the event were instrumental to its success throughout the years he led its planning. His spirit continues to inspire the tournament, making it a vibrant and memorable fundraiser that grows each year.
